This is a comparison of the three bestselling Samsung Blu-ray player which is BD-C6500, BD-C5500 and BD-C6900.

Pros: This Samsung Blu-ray player got excellent Blu-ray image quality; Netflix, Vudu, YouTube, and Pandora media streaming, plus the expandable Samsung Apps platform; built-in Wi-Fi; 7.1 analog audio outputs; 1GB onboard storage.

Cons: Sluggish operational speed; competing Sony players offer 3D for about the same price; last year's Samsung Blu-ray player had questionable reliability.

Summary: This Samsung Blu-ray player has excellent image quality, outstanding features for the price, and a slick design--we just wish it were a little faster.

Cons: Sluggish operational speed; no built-in Wi-Fi; compatible Wi-Fi dongle is too expensive; last year's Samsung Blu-ray player had questionable reliability.

Summary: The BD-C5500's expandable Samsung Apps platform and DLNA compatibility make it stand out from other entry-level players, although it's one of the slower players we've tested. A good choice if you want a cheaper Samsung Blu-ray player
